The other day I went a took some photos at a derelict asylum in Northampton. It was part of some research that I'm doing for a project based on 'Urban Dereliction'. Although it was really quite freaky walking round the buildings and the fact that my heart was beating at twice the rate it would do usually; I did get some quite nice photos. Here are some of the shots that I took.
There was a basement downstairs in one of the buildings, but stupidly I left the torch in the car and just by looking down the stairs, it was pitch black from about the 3rd step! So I opted out for this visit, but gonna go down there next time.
